Garrett Wilson
Garrett Wilson Could miss a couple of weeks
Mon, Oct 13, 2025, 5:18 PM
An MRI revealed that Wilson suffered a hyper-extended knee Sunday, with the wideout reportedly expected to miss a couple of weeks, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Analysis: We'll await confirmation from the team, but at a minimum it looks like the Jets are in line to be without their top pass-catcher this weekend against the Panthers. If that's the case, Josh Reynolds, Arian Smith, Allen Lazard (personal) and Tyler Johnson would be candidates to see added WR reps in Wilson's absence.

Garrett Wilson Appears to avoid serious injury
Mon, Oct 13, 2025, 3:32 PM
Wilson (knee) underwent an MRI on Monday and appears to have avoided a serious injury, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: However, Wilson is potentially looking at some missed time, according to Cimini. The star wideout played through the injury during Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London, but now that the adrenaline has worn off, Wilson could miss some game action. The Jets have two more games before their Week 9 bye. If Wilson were to miss Weeks 7 and 8 against the Panthers and Bengals, New York would be left with a hodgepodge crew of Josh Reynolds, Arian Smith, Allen Lazard (personal) and Tyler Johnson leading the wide receiver depth chart.
Justin Fields
Justin Fields Will remain starting quarterback
Mon, Oct 13, 2025, 12:02 PM
Fields will remain the Jets' starting quarterback for Sunday's Week 7 game against the Panthers, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Coach Aaron Glenn admitted Monday that Fields, who completed just nine of 17 pass attempts for 45 yards while absorbing nine sacks, "took a step back" in Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London, but the current plan is to stick with the 26-year-old under center. Behind Fields on the depth chart are 36-year-old Tyrod Taylor, who is a known commodity as a reliable veteran backup at this stage of his career, and undrafted rookie Brady Cook on the practice squad. Taylor isn't a long-term answer, and Cook likely isn't ready for regular-season NFL action. Things could change if Fields doesn't rebound and show signs of improvement.
Jeremy Ruckert
Jeremy Ruckert No targets in London
Mon, Oct 13, 2025, 10:52 AM
Ruckert wasn't targeted in Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Ruckert reverted to being a non-factor in the passing game after a four-catch outing in Week 5 against the Cowboys. He was on the field for 22 of the Jets' 57 snaps on offense. Ruckert should continue to work behind Mason Taylor in Week 7against the Panthers.
Arian Smith
Arian Smith Goes without catch in Week 6
Mon, Oct 13, 2025, 10:49 AM
Smith didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Smith had one deep ball thrown his way, but Justin Fields failed to connect with the rookie speedster. That wasn't a surprising outcome considering Fields threw for only 45 yards in the game. Smith could get more involved in the offense against the Panthers in Week 7 if Garrett Wilson (knee) sits out or is limited.
Tyler Johnson
Tyler Johnson Blanked in Week 6
Mon, Oct 13, 2025, 10:47 AM
Johnson didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Justin Fields threw for just 45 yards, so Johnson unsurprisingly failed to get involved in the low-scoring loss. Even if Garrett Wilson (knee) were to sit out Week 7 against the Panthers, Johnson's upside would be capped due to Fields' struggles throwing the ball.
Isaiah Davis
Isaiah Davis Three touches in Week 6 loss
Mon, Oct 13, 2025, 10:45 AM
Davis rushed twice for two yards and caught his only target for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Davis saw typical backup running back usage, playing on 15 of the Jets' 57 snaps on offense compared to Breece Hall's 42. It would take an injury to Hall for Davis to carve out meaningful fantasy value for the winless Jets.
Garrett Wilson
Garrett Wilson Injury update coming Wednesday
Mon, Oct 13, 2025, 9:22 AM
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Monday that Wilson (knee) is having his injury evaluated and that the team will provide an update on his health Wednesday.
Analysis: Wilson is slated to undergo an MRI after having sustained a knee injury during Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London, in which he logged just three catches for 13 yards on eight targets. He received an X-ray after the contest, though it appears further evaluation will be necessary to fully diagnose the severity of his injury. With the No. 1 receiver's status potentially up in the air for Week 7 against the Panthers, Justin Fields and New York's struggling passing offense may have to lean on wideouts Josh Reynolds, Arian Smith and Allen Lazard (personal), in addition to rookie tight end Mason Taylor.

Garrett Wilson Injures knee Sunday
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 12:58 PM
Wilson suffered a knee injury during Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Cimini notes that it was previously thought that Wilson was dealing with a hip issue, but the star pass catcher apparently sustained a knee injury Sunday, and is slated to undergo an MRI. Per Cimini, it doesn't appear to be an ACL injury for Wilson, but the wideout's status is nonetheless worth monitoring closely ahead of next weekend's game against the Panthers.
Josh Reynolds
Josh Reynolds Paces pass catchers in loss
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 12:35 PM
Reynolds secured all three targets for 25 yards in the Jets' 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London on Sunday.
Analysis: The veteran wideout accounted for more than half of Justin Fields' paltry 45 passing yards on the day while tying for the team lead in receptions and setting the pace in targets. Reynolds now has back-to-back three-catch efforts following a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury and a Week 4 blanking in his return, but until the Jets are able to put together a semblance of a consistent passing attack, his fantasy outlook will remain relatively bleak.
Mason Taylor
Mason Taylor Major downturn in loss
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 12:23 PM
Taylor secured his only target for two yards in the Jets' 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London on Sunday.
Analysis: Just one week after posting a career-best 9-67-0 line on 12 targets, Taylor nearly pulled a complete disappearing act in Sunday's low-scoring loss. However, the rookie tight end was hardly the only Jets pass catcher to experience a forgettable afternoon, considering Justin Fields threw for just 45 yards and was sacked nine times. The Week 7 outlook for the entire offense is much brighter, however, as New York welcomes in the Panthers to MetLife Stadium for a Week 7 matchup next Sunday.
Justin Fields
Justin Fields Completely neutralized in loss
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 12:15 PM
Fields completed nine of 17 passes for 45 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed seven times for 31 yards in the Jets' 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London on Sunday. He also committed a fumble recovered by New York.
Analysis: Fields' final line tells the tale of how overwhelmed he repeatedly was by a ferocious Broncos defense that put together a signature performance overseas. The veteran signal-caller averaged a minuscule 2.6 yards per attempt while taking a whopping nine sacks, the final one coming on fourth down with under two minutes remaining to seal the loss. Despite Fields falling short of 100 passing yards for the second time already this season -- the first transpired in an injury-shortened Week 2 contest -- Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports head coach Aaron Glenn said following the game he wasn't considering a quarterback change for a Week 7 home matchup against the Panthers next Sunday, although he likely won't hesitate to insert veteran Tyrod Taylor into that contest if the offense continues to struggle.
Breece Hall
Breece Hall Big workload in London loss
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 12:07 PM
Hall rushed 22 times for 59 yards and recovered a fumble in the Jets' 13-11 loss to the Broncos on Sunday in London.
Analysis: Hall's workload was his largest of the season yet, as the Broncos and Jets engaged in a slugfest where pass protection was at a premium for Justin Fields, who was sacked nine times. Turning to Hall didn't yield particularly encouraging dividends for New York, however, as Denver's talented defense held the running back to a long run of eight yards. Hall had come in on an encouraging two-game stretch where he'd amassed 194 yards on 28 carries against the suspect defenses of the Dolphins and Cowboys, but the notable increase in the caliber of competition Sunday served to neutralize him. Hall and the Jets get an easier assignment in their return stateside, as the Panthers will pay a visit to MetLife Stadium next Sunday for a Week 7 interconference clash.
Garrett Wilson
Garrett Wilson Slowed by hip issue in Week 6 loss
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 11:58 AM
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said after Sunday's 13-11 loss to the Broncos in London that Wilson sustained a hip injury during the contest, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports. Wilson finished the day with three catches for 13 yards on eight targets.
Analysis: Wilson didn't miss extensive time at any point in the contest, though Connor Hughes of SNY.tv noted that the receiver looked to be banged up following an incomplete pass on second down on the Jets' penultimate possession. Wilson stayed on the sideline for a third-and-10 play, but he was back on the field for the team's final drive of the day. Per Al Iannazzone of Newsday, Wilson said after the game that he underwent an X-ray, and he could undergo an MRI once the Jets return stateside to begin prep for a Week 7 matchup with the Panthers. Even if Wilson's hip issue doesn't limit him in practice during the upcoming week, Sunday's loss to Denver demonstrated that the wideout's weekly fantasy outlook can be volatile while he's tethered to a poor Jets passing attack. Quarterback Justin Fields dropped back just 26 times Week 6, taking nine sacks and completing only nine of 17 passes for 45 yards.
Khalil Herbert
Khalil Herbert Healthy inactive for London game
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 7:14 AM
Herbert (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos in London.
Analysis: After signing with the Jets last week, Herbert dressed as the Jets' No. 3 running back for this past Sunday's 37-22 loss to the Cowboys. He didn't see any playing time on offense in the loss but contributed on special teams, where he brought back one kickoff for 22 yards. With Kene Nwangwu (hamstring) set to play Sunday for the first time since Week 1, the Jets won't have a need for Herbert as depth at running back or as a kickoff returner.
Isaiah Williams
Isaiah Williams Elevated for London contest
Sat, Oct 11, 2025, 7:23 PM
The Jets elevated Williams from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Analysis: The Jets waived Williams on Oct. 4, but he was back with the team after signing with the practice squad Monday. He has mostly played on special teams this season as a returner on punts and kickoffs, and he'll likely reprise that role during Sunday's game against the Broncos in London, England.
Kene Nwangwu
Kene Nwangwu Cleared to return Week 6
Fri, Oct 10, 2025, 11:14 AM
Nwangwu (hamstring) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Broncos, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Nwangwu upgraded to full practice participation Friday to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game in London. He's set to reclaim primary kickoff return duties on special teams in what will be Nwangwu's first action since Week 1.
Kene Nwangwu
Kene Nwangwu Gets in limited session Thursday
Thu, Oct 9, 2025, 12:37 PM
Nwangwu (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Nwangwu's slowly making progress after sitting out practice Wednesday. He hasn't suited up for game action since getting injured in Week 1 against the Steelers. If Nwangwu's healthy enough to play Sunday against the Broncos, he would likely reprise his role as the Jets' primary kickoff returner.
Kene Nwangwu
Kene Nwangwu Limited Wednesday
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 12:37 PM
Nwangwu (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: The Iowa State product returned to practice Wednesday after missing the Jets' last four games due to a hamstring injury sustained in the Week 1 loss to the Steelers. Nwangwu will likely carry an injury designation into the weekend if he's unable to upgrade to a full session Thursday or Friday. If the 27-year-old is sidelined for the Week 6 matchup against the Broncos, Isaiah Davis is likely to operate as the Jets' top kick returner.
Allen Lazard
Allen Lazard Ruled out for Week 6
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 8:09 AM
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Wednesday that Lazard (personal) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos in London, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
Analysis: Lazard didn't travel with the team to London due to a personal matter, and he's now officially been ruled out for Week 6. In Lazard's stead, Tyler Johnson is now positioned for added opportunities on offense behind Garrett Wilson, Josh Reynolds and Arian Smith. Across four regular-season appearances so far, Lazard has secured four of six targets for 24 receiving yards and one score.
